The Prison Cell
The Prison CellIn the studio's smallest and most spartan room, all prison fantasies become reality. In a space of just 4,5 square meters, the prisoner ekes out a miserable existence, awaiting the orders of the guard. Old green tiles, a bare cot, and a stainless steel pillory are all this room offers. To make the fantasy as realistic as possible, a real prison door with a classic peephole was acquired and refurbished. The room is illuminated by harsh floodlights, which eliminate any remaining sense of privacy. Nothing remains hidden here; the watchful eyes of the guards see every movement, every part of the prisoner's body, and every transgression. Escape is absolutely impossible.
